LBN 603   LRGB

Lynds’ Bright Nebula 603 is a faint nebula located in Cassiopeia. Lynds brightness scale of 1 (brightest) to 6 (dimmest) has this one at a 6. The dark nebula regions also have catalog numbers:

LDN 1295 – center of image
TGU H809 – left of center
LDN 1296 – above the others in the dust (couldn’t make it out without looking at Aladin)

Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

240 minutes total exposure – 4 hours

Imaged November 29th (one exposure before clouds sent me packing) and December 27th, 2013 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
