M35   LRGB

M35 (NGC 2168) is an open cluster located approximately 2,800 light-years away in Gemini. NGC 2158 is the open cluster (that looks like a globular). It is located approximately 11,000 light-years away.

Luminance – 13x600s – 130 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

250 minutes total exposure – 4 hours 10 minutes

Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) on November 12th, 2013 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90DT at f/6.7 603mm.
