IC 4954   55   LRGB

IC 4954 and 4955 (also known as LBN 153, CED 175a, b and c, and Roslund 4) is a nebula and open cluster complex located approximately 6-8,000 light-years away in Vulpecula. The area is surrounded by several TGU dark nebulae (http://cdsbib.u-stra...PASJ...57S...1D). This is another of the Astronomy League’s Bright Nebulae Observing Program objects.

Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

240 minutes total exposure – 4 hours

Imaged October 27th, 2013 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
