So.

the skywatcher synguider,

it was a second hand, but i don`t mind.

There was only one thing missing, maybay it comes later.

Now i`m stuck with the next problem, i used my finderscope with a webcam, but it`s selfmade.

so need to buy a guiderscope.....

i know where i`m working for

the box of the synguider was very small, i thougt o its tiny

but wrong.

once i opened the box, it was stuffed with the synguider, a batterypack, cables, the controller and the manual.

so i`ve read the manuel.

looks the first time u read it like rocketscience,

so i`ve read it again and again. my language is dutch, the manual is in english. some words i wasn`t formilior with.

so i should used the battery pack, but there goes 4 d-type battery of 1.5 V into.

I went to the shop and look at the price....

2 battery`s were (duracell) 6,90 euro

so i needed 4, was 13,80 euro.

i did not buy them.

instead i bought a adapter

i figured, cost a little more, but again no problems when the battery run dead and u have to buy new ones,

the synguider runs on 6~14 V and 200 mA and up.

so that problems solved.

I went home and after my kid went to bed, time to play!

it look very solid.

But soon as i turned it on, it worked, but u can`t do much with it on the inside, logical because it`s ment for the outside.

So I will wait as the rest of u for  clear skies and then post more

greetings
