I am a Portuguese expat living in The Netherlands who loves astronomy but don't understand much about it!

So here I am to learn from all of you :)


I very recently (last week) started trying to do some astro-photography with a Canon 500D and my Meade LS 8''. Results are a joke but I am loving the learning steps. 


Looking forward to hear from you in this Forum and, who knows, maybe one day I will be able to contribute. :)


Here are my very first two pictures (and only ones I took so far) edited using Office Picture Viewer... I am trying to understand how exactly do this using proper software...

Thats a might fine start Nelson.


A couple of fine DSO, M13 and M27, excellent.

I used to live in The Netherlands, so I can imagine the light pollution.


Great pictures you have there, to me they look perfect!
